This lab will consist of installing two virtual machines, one using a Windows Operating System and one using an Ubuntu operating system.
I'm going to start with the Ubuntu Virtual Machine.

- Click the New Virtual Machine (Indicated by the blue badge)
- You will now see a screen that looks as follows:
- After this you will need to specify how much ram you want your computer to use for this Virtual Machine. I selected the default of 512mb.
- Next you will need to create a virtual hard-drive for the operating system to be installed on. I used an 8gb drive, leaving me room to install any programs I would like on my Virtualization of Ubuntu.
- Now you'll want to select your Ubuntu installation .iso file. Once you have selected it and waited for it to load up your screen should look like this:
4. From here you will want to select "Install Ubuntu" and follow the instructions for installing the Ubuntu Operating System.
5. After Ubuntu has installed you'll want to make sure that your virtual cd/dvd drive is empty so that you do not run the live cd every time.
